Future continuous

  • We'll be reading the book this time tomorrow.
  • I can't come. I'll be working at 5 o'clock on Monday.
  • My sister believes she'll be living in NY in 2 years time.
  • How long will you be staying?
  • We'll be helping my parents repaint their house all afternoon tomorrow.

Future perfect

  • (není FP) Mary will leave when her mother-in-law arrives.

  • Mary will have left when her mother-in-law arrives.

  • I'll have gotten my results by Friday, so I can relax at the weekend.


  • Future continuous: will/won't be + -ing

  • Future perfect: will have + past participle
